David Baker is one of only 5 British stand up comedians to be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno - along with Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand, Eddie Izzard and Jimmy Carr. David featured at number 4 in HBO's Top 10 British stand-up comedians of 2012.
An international headliner, David performs in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. David hit the US comedy scene in 2008 when he became the only foreign comedian selected for the New York Comedy Festival. In 2009, David's stand-up was selected as one of the 'best of the year' by Comedy Central's Jokes.com.
As well as performing on The Tonight Show, David has also appeared on Byron Allen's Comedy.TV on CBS, the nationally syndicated The Bob and Tom Show, a one-hour primetime special on Comedy Central Canada, The Comedy Time Network, and 150 radio stations. In 2010, David was one of only 64 comedians selected - from over 1000 applying worldwide - to perform in the prestigious 'Great Canadian Laugh Off' contest. David finnished runner-up (second place) and was the only British comedian to make the final 16. David also won the 2008 Broadway Comedy Club contest in New York and was a semi-finalist in the 2008 New York's Funniest Stand Up Contest and 2009 World Series of Comedy contest
David is a humor ambassador for the Comedy Cures charity. He has also written for the comedy magazines 'Stage Time' and 'Comic Bible'.
